We won’t tell you how far or how fast you be running, but whatever speed and distance you choose you will find runners at the club to do it with you.
If you are looking to join or re-join the club, you must register first. You can no longer join from this site.
We welcome new runners at our main run from the Clubhouse on a Monday.
If you have never run with us before you need to:
– register online first
– come along to our main clubrun from the Clubhouse on a Monday

Please also read our Etiquette Guide.
After your first introductory Monday night, you may join any of our sessions for up to 4 weeks, free of charge, to see how you get on. If you wish to continue after 4 weeks then you need to pay to become a member.
Frequently asked questions:
How much does it cost?
An individual training session costs nothing. We allow you to run with us for up to 4 weeks whilst you decide whether you enjoy it. After this you decide whether to join or stop running with us. The current price for annual membership is £62.
How far do you run?
A typical Monday night club run may be anything between 6 miles and 9 miles. However, many of the other runs may be longer or shorter depending on the objectives of the session. Make sure that you check the distance on the events page before joining a session. There are often multiple options in a run to give you different distance if you need it.
What do I need to do to run with you?
You need to register online first. Then come to the Clubhouse on the first Monday of the month by 19:15 and introduce yourself to the Session Leader.
Where do you meet?
We meet at the clubhouse. This is the Leamington Lawn Tennis Club on Guy’s Cliffe Avenue, Leamington Spa. CV32 6LZ
What should I wear?
It depends on the weather but shorts/leggings and short sleeve/long sleeve top should be fine. Try to use sports specific wicking material in warm weather. Running specific trainers are required.
Will I be too slow? / What if I can’t do it?
The club has runners across the entire spectrum of abilities. Whatever your pace you will fit in somewhere.
Am I too old? / Am I too young?
Any one over the age of 18 is welcome to join. There is no upper limit and we have runners of all ages between 20 – 70.
Can anyone join the Club?
You can join as long as you are eligible as defined by the governing bodies to which the club is affiliated (England Athletics), are 18yrs and over, support the purpose of the club as outlined in our constitution and have no conflicting membership with any other club.
If you are younger than 18 and wish to train with a club, Leamington C&AC have an excellent youth section.
Can I join as a second claim member?
Second claim membership is at the discretion of the committee. Please speak to us on your first visit.
What is a Tennis Member and why is it cheaper?
A Tennis Club Member is someone who is already a paid up member of the Leamington Lawn Tennis & Squash Club. The price is cheaper because a significant amount of your membership fee goes to the Tennis Club for the provision of the facilities. If you are a member of the Tennis Club then you already pay for this as part of your Tennis Club membership fee.
