The annual club cross-country handicap race will take place on Saturday 28th November, 9:30 am at Newbold Common.
The race is about 4 miles and is open to all club members. The handicap is based on runners setting off at intervals with the slower runners going first and the faster runners starting later. The winner is the first across the line regardless of time taken, so in theory anyone could win. In order to work out the handicaps could you email John (j.burden98@btinternet.com) with any recent (last 3-4 months) race times and distances, or mile rep times or just how long you would take to run 10k. Alternatively the organisers will accept bribes in the traditional brown envelope. Anyone not wishing to run on the day, but who would be up for some marshalling can also contact John at the same email
